Brantley Gilbert is debuting his new single, “The Weekend”, and it definitely sounds like our kind of party!
This boot stompin’ tune which is sure to become your new weekend anthem is a collaboration between Gilbert and modern songwriter/producer Andrew DeRoberts. Although Gilbert admits that he has never had the opportunity to shake hands with the man that he ultimately concocted this compilation with over the phone, he expresses great gratitude towards DeRoberts in addition to unyielding optimism regarding the song’s anticipated success.
“There’s all of the things we have going on in this country right now; hopefully this song will be kind of a breath of fresh air.. A kind of release, a good time,” Brantley tells his fans in a video released by iHeartRadio.
