Bride And Groom Surprise Guests With Epic ‘Dirty Dancing’ Inspired First Dance

One of the most important parts of a wedding is the bride and groom’s first dance. It is usually set to the tune of a song that is extremely meaningful to their relationship.

This couple must have a soft spot in their hearts for the movie Dirty Dancing because that’s what inspired their epic first dance. Set to the tune of “Time of My Life”, just married couple Asia and Maciek surprised their guests with a choreographed dance, almost an exact replica of the final dance scene in Dirty Dancing. 

Maciek wore all black, just like Patrick Swayze, and Asia wore a short, white sundress, similar to the one Jennifer Grey wore in the final scene of the movie. Their friends and family cheered and clapped to the beat, watching the happy couple shimmy and spin around the dance floor.

The performance wouldn’t be complete without the iconic lift, which Asia and Maciek nailed on the second attempt.  After a shaky first try, the guests cheered them on, demanding a successful lift. We’re glad they tried it again because when Asia was in the air, it was the most amazing thing to see.
