The Dunham Puppets’ Take On The Big Game

A couple of years ago, comedian and ventriloquist Jeff Dunham gathered up his cast of puppets for one hilarious Super Bowl party. As always, our favorite puppet Bubba J was the star of the show.

He had some side-splitting things to say about the game, but made it clear that he’d much rather be watching NASCAR. 

Dunham’s video of his 2016 Super Bowl party generated its fair share of views after it was posted. Due to the success of that first video, Dunham decided to give it another go for the 2017 Super Bowl.

Puppet Predictions On Game Winners

The 2017 matchup was between the New England Patriots and the Atlanta Falcons in Houston, Texas. For weeks before the game, people were making their predictions about which team would win. Dunham’s puppets decided to get in on the action as well, and their responses were as varied as their personalities.

Walter, Achmed, and Peanut all make an appearance in the Super Bowl Sunday video Dunham shared. Bubba J appeared in the video several times, and everything he had to say was hilarious!

Wearing a Falcons jersey and clutching a can of beer, Bubba J started dissecting the roman numerals attached to that year’s Super Bowl. The whole thing started off slowly, but eventually turned into a hysterical rant.

Bubba J Got Pretty Passionate About This

“So since it’s Super Bowl fifty-one, with the Roman numerals LI, if you say it that spells ‘lie,’” he said. “So anyone who goes to this year’s Super Bowl is a liar!”

That logic makes sense, right? Bubba J got a kick out of himself with that one, and laughed about it for a while. Though we have to admit, we were laughing too!

When it came to the end of the video, all of the puppets named their picks to win the big game. Bubba J contemplated over his choice for a while, not wanting to make the wrong pick.

“The last time I was this careful picking anything, I had to use a tissue,” he said proudly.

After thinking it over for a while, Bubba J finally came up with his choice to win the Super Bowl. “I predict that the winner of the Super Bowl will be the Falcons,” he said, “because everyone else said it’s gonna be Hillary.”
