Bull riding is one heck of a sport – not only is there an enormous dose of adrenaline involved, but also an abundance of uncertainty.

During an event that could have ended in a terrible injury – or worse, death – one cowboy sent the crowd in a frenzy when he dismounted his bull in the most unconventional way possible. As the man of the moment is holding on dearly to the clearly heated bull, the animal begins to grow furious. I mean, the bull does have a full grown man on its back…
With a powerful buck, the bull throws the man into the air as the audience gasps and holds their breath – preparing for the worst. Despite the powerful launch, the rider transitions mid-air into an unimaginably clean backflip. He lands on his feet before quickly scrambling away from the raging beast.
This “rodeo meets Cirque du Soleil” move not only impressed the crowd – but very possibly may just have saved the man from facing a grim ending.
