Bunch Of Kids Put Their Spin On Elvis’ “Teddy Bear”

One of Elvis Presley‘s most endearing songs of all time is “Teddy Bear.” The sweet and simple tune is sung from the point of view of a man trying to win the affections of a gal who caught his eye. He begs for her to make him his “teddy bear,” but the song ends before we ever know if his efforts were successful.

As if the song wasn’t already cute enough, four kids put an adorable spin on it that made us love it even more. Back in 2011, a group called the Castillo Kids recorded their own version of “Teddy Bear” to share with their followers on YouTube. The group was made up of siblings Julie, age 11, Jessie, age 13, and Joey, age 15, along with a friend, Liza, who was 10 at the time.

Today, Julie, Jessie, Joey, and another singer named Kirkland make up a popular mariachi band that performs at various venues, festivals, and more. The Castillo Kids also know how to sing in eight languages, and play a total of eight instruments.

The group first gained popularity on YouTube with their covers of songs such as “Teddy Bear.” In the video, each of the children can be seen playing their own respective instrument. Joey sings lead, while the girls sing stunning background vocals.

In one of the cutest moments of the clip, little Liza drags Joey along by his saxophone and gives him a look of complete adoration. But let’s be honest, this entire clip is adorable, which is why you need to check it out below.

We think Elvis is smiling down on these talented youngsters, don’t you agree?
