Carrie Underwood and Brad Paisley ignited emotion into the heart of the Grand Ole Opry with an explosive duet of their song "Remind Me." The longtime friends and collaborators met up at the iconic venue back in August of 2012 for the performance of one of their country hits.
Paisley kicked off the performance solo before Underwood's powerful voice is heard throughout the concert hall just in time for the chorus. The audience went wild as the talented vocalist began to cross the stage, thrilling the crowd with her unprecedented appearance.
Knowing the song would be best recorded as a duet, Paisley described the decision to choose the country music superstar to perform on the song as an easy one. The song went on to hit No.1 on Billboard's country chart in addition to taking home an ACM Award for "Collaborative Music Video of the Year."
"Remind Me" was co-written by Paisely back in 2011, released as the third single off his critically acclaimed album This Is Country Music. The song tells the emotional story of a married couple desperately trying to reignite the spark of their relationship that began to drift away from them over the years.
