Carrie Underwood Debuts Phenomenal Tease to NFL ‘Sunday Night Football’ Anthem

When it comes to Sunday nights, is there really anything more American than a little country music and some intense football? Well, the NFL gave us the best of both worlds when they made the executive decision to completely revamp their iconic “Waiting All Day For Sunday Night” anthem to incorporate music from Carrie Underwood‘s badass hit, “Somethin’ Bad”.

Underwood began to rock the original NBC intro, originally sung by fellow country artist Faith Hill who claimed the intro for six years, back in 2013 when her widely anticipated debut attracted mass attention from elated fans, both of Underwood and the incredible sport!

The sneak peek, released by the @NFLonNBC Twitter page, shows a compilation of various, live-action football clips in conjunction with blonde bombshell Underwood in an intimate recording studio giving us a little taste of the new collaboration! As no football montage is complete without a little flames and the flaunting of big, American muscles, we are given a mere twenty-four second experience of what the season will entail, and boy are we pumped!

The “New Song. New Season.” slogan definitely did not prepare us for this major modification that is guaranteed to enhance the future football seasons to come! Game on!
