While we’re still a few months away from the official kickoff of NFL football season, Carrie Underwood is already preparing for America’s favorite time of the year.

Last year the country singer debuted her Sunday Night Football theme song, “Oh, Sunday Night,” set to the tune of her and Miranda Lambert‘s hit country song “Somethin’ Bad,” and it looks like the sports fanatic will continue to hype up fans this incoming football season!

So how does Underwood prepare to do her part this football season? The country singer said goodbye to her adorable bob she’s been rocking since 2015 and said hello to long luscious locks.

“Shooting the new @snfonnbc open! Lots of fun today!” wrote Underwood. “This will be our best one yet! Can’t wait for you all to see it!”

While it’s not certain whether or not her long hair is here to stay, sounds like husband Mike Fisher would be okay with it, commenting “Holy smokes, I’d marry ya” on her Instagram photo.

When it was decided to reboot the theme song with her and Lambert’s girl power duet, Underwood worked with songwriters to rework the song for the program. The country singer has been singing the Sunday Night Football theme since 2013, Faith Hill working on the show in the years prior.
