Country music fans at 2017’s Passion Conference were in for a huge surprise on Monday night (Jan. 1).

The Passion Conference, which is described as “a student movement inspiring a generation to live for what matters most,” takes place at the Atlanta Georgia Dome from January 2nd to January 4th and is hosted by Passion Band and Louie and Shelley Giglio.

The Christian event includes music performances by Crowder, Chris Tomlin, Matt Redman, Hillsong United, Christy Nockels, and Jimi Cravity. The three day conference also features Christine Caine, Beth Moore, John Piper, Levi Lusko, Francis Chan, Katherine and Jay Wolf.

Crowder was performing his song “Lift Your Head Weary Sinner” when about half way through, a very famous face (and voice) appeared on stage to sing backup for him.

It was none other than country superstar Carrie Underwood who was belting out harmonies and shocked the entire 55,000 person crowd. Watch the moment she surprised everyone below!

After she sang with Crowder, she blessed the crowd by singing her No. 1 song “Something In The Water”, one of her more religious songs. Underwood’s faith is extremely important to her and for her to share it with these unsuspecting fans was very special.

Watch her “Something In The Water” performance below.
