Slipping into a sparkling black cocktail dress, the superstar unleashes one of the most impressive season openers we have ever seen.

For months now, we’ve known that Carrie Underwood had been working hard on this year’s new, revamped set for NFL Sunday Night Football, but we had no idea it would be this good!

With Faith Hill passing the torch to Underwood for the theme song, Carrie got back into the studio to do some recording – and from the looks of it, a great opening sequence!

Singing a re-tooled version of her hit song “Somethin’ Bad” (which featured Miranda Lambert), Underwood channels her Sunday Night Football spirit animal with a powerful and chilling “Oh Sunday Night” performance!

This season will mark Underwood’s fourth consecutive season singing the opening number, and we are loving the work she’s done!
