Chris Stapleton Sings George’s Song “Love’s Gonna Make it Alright” But Did Y’all Know He Wrote It?

Before Chris Stapleton was winning every award at every awards show this year, he was an extremely talented songwriter. As a matter of fact, he still is!

Little did we know, we were singing along to a lot of his hits before we even knew who he was.

One of those hits is George Strait’s 2011 song “Love’s Gonna Make it Alright” from his album Here For A Good Time.

A couple years after Strait released the song, Stapleton performed the song at the Guys With Guitars concert in Long Island, New York.

His version is a little bit grittier than King George’s, but it’s still so good!

The whole crowd starts singing along for the chorus, and Stapleton just leans away from the mic to take it all in. What a surreal moment!

People are loving and singing along to lyrics he wrote! That must be a crazy feeling.

We suggest he make a full album of songs he’s written for other artists! It would definitely be a hit!

Watch him perform “Love’s Gonna Make It Alright” below.
