Country music star Chris Stapleton paid the ultimate tribute alongside his incredibly talented wife Morgane, thrilling fans with a cover that had them craving more.
In a performance on a recently released album, Stapleton graced his fans with a chilling cover of Don Williams‘ heartfelt hit “Amanda”.
The crooner’s remarkable vocals kicked off the tribute, mesmerizing fans with his echoing talent and superb vocal capabilities. Stapleton’s wife was more than powerful on the track, lending her stunning vocals to back her husband’s chorus and add a heavy dose of her phenomenal gift.
“Amanda light of my life/ Fate should have made you a gentle man’s wife,” they sang.
The original ballad was recorded in 1973 by Williams and fellow country icon Waylon Jennings. Stapleton and his wife were chosen to record the track for the upcoming tribute album Gentle Giants, featuring a range of country stars performing country icon Don Williams’ greatest hits. Other artists on the compilation include Trisha Yearwood, Alison Krauss, and Dierks Bentley. The album is now available for purchase.
