Chris Stapleton’s Face Has Been Turned Into A Bacon Sculpture You Have To See To Believe

Chris Stapleton is one of the biggest names in country music at the moment. He had been a treasured member of the Nashville community for some time, serving as the force behind the pen that wrote hit songs for other artists such as Josh Turner‘s “Your Man” and Luke Bryan‘s “Drink a Beer.”

After Stapleton’s performance at the CMA Awards in November 2015, he shot to instant stardom. Countless awards and invitations to perform at venues across the country came pouring into his life. That stuff is nice and all, but now Stapleton has a sign that he’s truly made it in the music industry…because his face has been turned into a bacon sculpture.

Seriously, we’re not pulling your leg here. A sculptor crafted a likeness of Stapleton out of the beloved breakfast staple. But what’s the occasion, you ask? Well, the sculpture was designed to be featured in the Farmland Bacon Club Booth at the LouFest music festival in St. Louis, Missouri.

Stapleton is scheduled to perform at LouFest on Saturday night (September 10), so bacon artist Nancy Baker decided to design a sculpture that looked like him. The whole bust is made entirely of bacon, and will be on display all day on Saturday.

Visitors who stop by the booth can guess how many strips of bacon were used for the sculpture, and whoever comes the closest wins a prize…free Farmland bacon for a year. Now that’s a competition we’d jump to take part in!

We wonder if Stapleton will stop by to see his bacon face while he’s at LouFest? He really should, because it’s a true work of art!
