Christina Aguilera gave her co-stars a run for their money as the funniest coach on The Voice! Former Voice coach Christina Aguilera challenged Blake Shelton to a prank war with a hysterical pop makeover to his hit country song “Hillbilly Bone.”

A Fun, Wild Tune

Christina chose to sing Blake’s upbeat party song, “Hillbilly Bone” that he sang with his buddy and fellow country star, Trace Adkins. The song talks about getting down-and-dirty to country music no matter where you’re from. City folk can even get down to this one!

An Even Wilder Performance

Joined on stage by two male exotic dancers who look as if they just stepped off the set of Magic Mike, Aguilera struts out in an elaborate burlesque-type costume. The pop music superstar makes it rain cash all over a shocked Shelton yodeling her best “YEEE-HAAWW” while the dancers perform a sensual striptease on either side of him.

Shelton had a good sense of humor about it all admitting he thought “it was a good prank” and that he wants Aguilera to consider wearing the cowboy hat on a regular basis.

“I’ve always sort of sung that song to him off camera,” explains Aguilera. “It’s kinda been an inside joke between the two of us so I thought it would be funny because he’s commenting all the time about the shirtless guys and the sex appeal…He’s such a great sport that he’s fun to play around with.”

Shelton hilariously fires back at Aguilera in a red carpet interview by giving her hit “Lady Marmalade” a country makeover.
