The Luke Bryan Song That Makes You Wanna Groove

Luke Bryan‘s song “Move” is one that you just can’t help but dance to. This is something Bryan seems well-aware of. After all, the female star of the “Move” music video was a dancer!

“Move” was released in July 2017 as the fifth single off of Bryan’s album Kill the Lights. The single made its way to the top of the U.S. Country Airplay chart and the Canada Country chart.

The song’s fast pace and heavy beat makes it the perfect track for many styles of dance. It lends itself particularly well to clog dancing, something that we now know thanks to a group named NXT LVL.

Introducing Dance To The World

May 30, 2017 marked the debut of the new NBC series World of Dance. The show’s impressive panel of judges included former American Idol judge Jennifer Lopez and Dancing with the Stars favorite Derek Hough.

NXT LVL was one of the teams that competed for the judges’ scores on an early episode. Hailing from Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, the country cloggers got down to the beat of “Move” and showed off some pretty smooth moves of their own.

Featuring fast footwork, mid-air kicks, and even a backflip for good measure, NXT LVL’s routine was a spectacular showcase.

How Did Things Fare For Them?

But despite their best efforts, the group fell three points short of qualifying to move on in the competition.

You can catch their toe-tappin’ clog dance to “Move” in the video below.

Although their time on World of Dance ended early, we have a feeling this won’t be the last we’ll see from NXT LVL. With talent like that, they’ll surely go far!
