The History Behind Miranda’s Hit Song
Although “Little Red Wagon” is now known as one of Miranda Lambert‘s biggest hits, she wasn’t the first one to sing it. The song was originally recorded by singer-songwriter Audra Mae, who also co-wrote it.
Lambert released her version of “Little Red Wagon” in 2015.
The tune rolled its way up the charts, eventually landing at the fifth spot. It was also a crossover hit, and peaked at the 55th position on the Billboard Hot 100.
A Sassy Dance To Match
Since “Little Red Wagon” perfectly captures Lambert’s signature sassy attitude, it quickly earned the status as one of her signature tunes. It’s honestly no surprise why…it’s so much fun to listen to!
The song is also a fun one to dance to, as proved by some talented country girls in the Seymour High School Dance Team.
Group member Aubrey King shared a video of the girls dancing to “Little Red Wagon” during a performing arts show at Disney World in February 2017. The girls showcased a whole assortment of moves in their dance, including kicks, turns, and sharp poses.
But the best part of the whole performance was when all of the girls lined up at center stage and joined together in a kick line. Made famous by dance groups such as The Rockettes, kick lines are always a crowd-pleaser.
Go ahead and tune in below to watch these talented girls show off their best moves in this red-hot dance to one of Lambert’s biggest hits!
