Country Icon Gets Epic Makeover To Serenade Unsuspecting City Folks

One country star treated unsuspecting folks in New York City to an epic performance while in disguise as a fellow rock and roll icon!

Partnering up with NYC’s musical staple, the Naked Cowboy, longtime country music veteran Billy Ray Cyrus threw on his striking Elvis Presley disguise and hit the city streets for a thrilling performance! Kicking off their performance with Elvis’ iconic hit “Hound Dog”, the two men manned their guitars and they made their way into the busy crowds.

The Naked Cowboy took the reins on finding the prime location for their Facebook Live session, jamming out with Cyrus to a variety of rock and roll hits! Fans began to flock to the duo, instantly recognizing the country star’s twang and whipping out their phones to document the moment.

The performance was crafted to remind fans that Cyrus’ hit show Still The King will be airing this week on CMT, featuring the country star as the series’ main character. Playing Vernon Brownmule, aka “Burnin’ Vernon”, Cyrus channels a has been, one hit wonder who emerges from hiding 20 years later as an Elvis Presley impersonator. Of course, the storyline contains a variety of plot twists and crucial events that have made the show a hit with religious viewers.
