Country Icons Reveal Which Blonde Bombshell They Think Is Perhaps Country Music’s Best

Three country music icons sat down for an intricate interview in which they were all asked about the future of country music. While many believe that genre has since transformed into a new, cross-over feature with a large influence from pop music, others have openly supported the new sound and the transition from the classic tunes to the modern hits.

Sitting down with Rare Country, country music icons Tanya Tucker, Mark Chesnutt, and Collin Raye revealed their favorite picks from the country music world, surprising some fans and sitting pretty with others. It seems that all three artists could agree on one leading lady in particular.

Mark Chesnutt kicked off the segment, identifying his choice as, “Miranda Lambert. She’s her own woman. She does her own woman and that’s just not heard of these days… People like Miranda Lambert… they’re from the old school…” The “Too Cold At Home” singer also spoke of Lambert’s passion, saying that he believes she is focused on the music and art above fame and fortune.

Tanya Tucker wasn’t too far behind with her love for the blonde bombshell, saying, “Miranda Lambert is great! I really enjoy her,” as she expressed her love for today’s country music.

Like his predecessors, Collin Raye was no shortage of kind things to say about Lambert, telling the camera, “Miranda Lambert, I think, is one of the greatest artists ever. She’s different,” as he recalled his meeting the singer when she was merely sixteen. “My brother plays with her, and he’s the one that introduced me to her… She has developed into such a great artist.”

Well, the votes are in and it looks like Lambert takes the cake by a landslide! We can’t say we’re surprised, as the singer has been taking the country music business by storm since first embarking on her musical journey.
