Country Singers Join Carpool Karaoke Amidst Unsuspecting Grammy Audience

The 59th Grammy Awards were without a doubt one for the books, complete with ravishing gowns, some questionable attire, and an eager venue filled with profound talent and competition. Host James Corden did an exceptional job at entertaining throughout the night, calling on a music icon to bring us back to the “sweet” old times of simple music and even simpler love songs.

Neil Diamond joined his fellow stars, including country icon Keith Urban, for a live performance emulating Corden’s hit feature “Carpool Karaoke”, as a variety of A-Listers stood behind the host wielding a cut-out in the shape of a car. Country couple Tim McGraw and Faith Hill quickly rushed to the scene as Diamond led the group through his classic hit “Sweet Caroline”.

Although Hill and various artists struggled with a handful of lyrics and sudden tempos, the audience was more than assisting as they wholeheartedly joined in on the performance, giving the live feature a strong sense of unity and passion.

As the performance wrapped up, Blue Ivy, daughter of pop superstar Beyoncé, joined the group and made her anticipated Grammy appearance. Corden welcomed the young girl with open arms, as this blend of musical genres showcased that music is the key component to bring even the most diverse of people together.
