Darius Rucker will have you willing to do just about anything “For the First Time” with his flirty new single! As a follow-up to his most recent single “If I Told You” – an emotional ballad which recently hit No.1 – Rucker takes a change of pace with the release of his alluring upbeat song, “For the First Time.”

Rucker tempts listeners to do something for the first time in the catchy chorus, encouraging an unsure participant to step out of her comfort zone and try her hand at something new.

“When was the last time you did something for the first time?/ Yeah, let yourself go/ Baby, follow that feeling,” Rucker sings. “Maybe something new is what you’re needing/ Like a real-life, let-your-hair-down-feel-alive/ When was the last time you did something for the first time?.”

“For the First Time” was written by Rucker alongside songwriters Derek George and Travis Hill. While the song isn’t set to hit the radio waves until July 24, it’s available for download and streaming now.
