Country music band The Chicks, formerly The Dixie Chicks, have been known for their harmonies.

With songs like “Landslide” and “Wide Open Spaces,” the trio of women rose to fame and graced fans with their sensational talent and emotional music.

Giving a classic hit their signature sound, The Chicks performed a breathtaking performance of Tammy Wynette‘s unforgettable song “Stand By Your Man.”

Even though the video below is a recording of them, you can hear the raw emotions as they passionately sang, “Stand By Your Man/ Give him two arms to cling to/ And something warm to come to when nights are cold and lonely.”

Their recording of “Stand By Your Man” was included on the album Tribute To Tradition, a 1998 compilation album of country stars paying tribute to legends that came before them.

Wynette skyrocketed the song to fame in 1968, as the song maintained a three-week reign at number one, winning over the hearts of listeners worldwide as she encouraged women to uphold strength and love in their relationship.
