Dolly Parton Pulls Hysterical Prank On Unsuspecting Reporter

This reporter had no idea what he was in for! A reporter for Entertainment Tonight named Chris was slated to interview the legendary Dolly Parton but comes to find out the country music icon had something entirely different in store for him.
As part of the television series Candid Camera, the country singer watched as her “press agent” told the unsuspecting reporter that he was not their first choice to interview her. Parton roared with laughter in the nearby room as the reporter grew increasingly more annoyed while being questioned on why he’s actually qualified to interview the legendary singer.
“I bet you hated my guts!” squealed Parton after the reporter was told it was all but a joke.
“It wasn’t you, it was him!” said Chris. “I just didn’t believe that the Dolly I knew and loved was gonna be like this.”
Turns out he was right! Candid Camera initially began as a radio show in the ’40s before being picked up as a televised series in the ’90s. Unfortunately, after decades of entertainment, the longtime running show was canceled in 2004.
