Dolly Parton Reveals Surprising Facts In Hysterical Game Of ‘Dollywood Squares’

The Talk YouTube Channel

Blonde bombshell Dolly Parton has continued throughout the years to maintain her incredible energy and larger than life personality. The country music legend joined the lovely ladies of CBS’ hit show The Talk to delve into some table conversation and wrap up her visit with an original game detailing Parton’s iconic life. The game, “Dollywood Squares”, deemed a spinoff of the former show “Hollywood Squares” debuting in 1966, following similar rules in which required the contestants to determine if Parton’s answer to a life-related question was in fact true or a lie.

The categories were broken up into various titles that all pertained to Parton, such as w “9 to 5 Dolly”, “Songwriter Dolly”, and “Kenny and Dolly”. The teams, consisting of hosts Sharon Osborne and Aisha Tyler on “Team O” and Sara Gilbert with Sheryl Underwood on “Team X”, battled it out in a difficult game filled with interesting facts and some Dolly humor, of course! Was anyone else aware that, while writing her song “9 to 5” Parton used her long, acrylic nail to tap out the beat and rhythm? Be sure to use that excuse next time you’re told acrylics are a “waste of money”!

Parton sent the audience rolling in laughter when “Team X” was asked a question wondering if Parton’s favorite ride at her famous amusement park “Dollywood” was the treacherous “Tennessee Tornado” rollercoaster. While the team took the bold move of saying yes, Parton assured the girls she has yet to ride any of the rides at her park! Parton yells,

“I don’t ride the rides! That’s the whole joke… I got too much to lose, like my hair…”

The spinoff game served as good fun for the audience of The Talk and viewers of the social media post. Check out the video for yourself to hear Parton’s other interesting facts and hear her hilarious encounter on the set of “Best Little Whorehouse In Texas”.
