Dolly Partons Stuns Fans With Unconventional Reasoning For Her Tattoos

americannews.com

Country music legend Dolly Parton has rightfully earned her permanent home in the hearts of country music fans ranging from all ages. While her music and inspiring messages have originated with an older audience, her talent and incredible outlook has continued to stream down into a younger fanbase holding immense appreciation for the singer and her music.

Sitting down with Vanity Fair, Parton successfully maintained her good girl image as she surprisingly spoke of her personal artwork, saying, “I don’t really like to make a big to-do of [the tattoos] because people make such a big damn deal over every little thing.” However, Parton was an open book as she began to explain the genuine purpose of her few tattoos. “But most of the tattoos, when I first started, I was covering up some scars that I had, ‘cause I have a tendency to have keloid scar tissue,” she said, as she described the pestering purple tint that the scar would hold. Admitting that the color was impossible to hide, Parton explained that she chose pastel-colored art pieces to simply conceal the scarring!

“I’m not trying to make some big, bold statement,” said the “Jolene” singer.

We love it! Who else has a tattoo?
