Two incredible musicians revived a country classic with their modern vocals and remarkable knack for musical creativity! Mary Reynaud and Glenn Arzel took to social media to showcase their chilling cover of Hank Williams‘ one-of-a-kind “Lovesick Blues”, revealing their profound talent and undeniable chemistry.

Reynaud took on the song’s lyrics as Arzel wowed their viewers with his instrumentals, manning his guitar and giving his stunning singing partner the perfect tempo.

Sharing her stellar riffs and impeccable voice control, Reynaud effortlessly sang, “I’ve got those lovesick blues/ Got the feeling called the “blue hoos”/ Since my sweetie said “Good Bye”/ Seems I don’t know what to “Do Hoo”/ All day long I sit and cry.”

In addition to her serene voice, Reynaud also accompanied Arzel in his instrumental work with a coconut doubling as a maraca, authenticating their performance and giving a creative touch.

Williams recorded his version of the classic in 1949, although it was Emmett Miller who was the first artist to grace the tune in 1922 for the musical Oh, Ernest. Be sure to listen to this ravishing cover below!
