Elvis Presley’s Family Legacy Continues With 12-Year-Old Lauren Marie’s “A Little Bit Stronger” Cover

Almost 40 years have passed since the world was rocked by news of the death of The King of Rock & Roll, Elvis Presley. No one will ever truly replace the late and great Elvis, but fans may just be able to find consolation in The King’s cousin Lauren.

12-year-old Lauren Marie Presley, whose father was a distant cousin to Elvis, exudes that same Presley talent and charm that the world saw in The King. The young singer aspires to follow in the footsteps of her famous relative and is currently chasing her big Nashville dreams until they are fully realized.

Lauren steps into the recording booth for a striking cover of Sara Evans“A Little Bit Stronger.”

In 2013, Lauren Marie participated in Lifetime’s singing competition drama, Chasing Nashville, where she stepped into the recording booth and delivered a captivating rendition of Evans’ hit song. Despite being just 12 years old at the time, the young singer showcased her awe-inspiring vocal abilities that will leave you amazed.

With passion in her voice, Lauren Marie sang, “I’m done thinking, that you could ever change/ I know my heart will never be the same but I’m telling myself I’ll be okay… Even on my weakest days, I get a little bit stronger.”

Following in the footsteps of her famous relative, Elvis Presley (to whom she is distantly related), Lauren Marie is pursuing her own Nashville dreams with hopes of reaching stardom.

History Of The Song

Lady Antebellum’s Hillary Scott co-wrote the powerful hit song “A Little Bit Stronger,” which was originally recorded by Sara Evans in 2010. The song’s emotional lyrics and catchy melody struck a chord with audiences, and it was also featured in the 2010 film Country Strong, where it was performed by actress Leighton Meester.
