“It was the scariest moment that we’ve had in our career,” her husband says solemnly as images of emergency personnel and stagehands running toward a hole in the middle of the stage flash across the screen.

Through a brand new preview of their forthcoming Soul2Soul documentary on Showtime, Tim McGraw and Faith Hill give fans a never-before-seen look at their lives on and off stage – and what it takes to make it as a power couple of performers on a massive world tour.

Beyond just showing their onstage presence and behind-the-scenes footage of their touring life, they also go in-depth about the hurdles they cross as artists working on a full album of duets together and how they have to work out their creative differences.

At one point, the trailer shows a horrifying stage accident that wasn’t widely publicized. You can hear the stage manager describing the lighting rig to the cameras and McGraw says “Hope these things are sturdy.”

Just a flash later and you hear a woman’s loud scream ring out through the empty arena. Personnel and stage workers rush toward the front of the stage where there is a gaping hole in the floor. McGraw’s voice comes on again, narrating the incident, saying “It was the scariest moment that we’ve had in our career.”

“You could feel the air coming out of the room, it was really, really scary,” An unidentified tour worker says.

The trailer then cuts to Faith Hill, doubled over, and sobbing. She then turns away from the camera and covers her face with her hands before wiping way tears. “It’s all good”, she says, visibly shaken.

While we don’t know what exactly happened on stage, the trailer indicates that some sort of intense and truly terrifying stage accident involving Faith Hill occurred as they were prepping for a show.

Faith Hill and Tim McGraw’s documentary, called Tim & Faitih: Soul2Soul, will air this November on Showtime.
