‘Forever Isn’t Long Enough’ – Garth Brooks Talks About His Love For Wife Trisha Yearwood

Before he fell in love with Trisha Yearwood, Garth Brooks didn’t consider himself a sappy guy. However, after they got married in 2005, Brooks’ love for his bride passed the point of no return.

“We’re the saps that we thought didn’t exist that [all] those songs are for,” he told Rare Country. “There’s a sappy song, and those songs become our songs.”

Of their love, he also adds, “I can’t believe this really exists. I can’t believe there’s somebody in this world that no matter how many times you get to be with them, all that does is make you want to be with them more.”

If that statement doesn’t make you believe in true love, his next one will.

“For the first time, forever isn’t long enough. That’s crazy, but I’m the lucky guy that found that,” he said.

Brooks and Yearwood have managed to find a balance between being super sappy and having a good sense of humor.

I always introduce her as ‘the love of my life,’ and she introduces me as her current husband. So, I’m just trying to keep the gig,” he said with a laugh.
