Christmas pajamas are a staple in the homes of millions across the nation, and wearing them during the annual present-opening ceremony Christmas morning is mandatory. But what is going to shield your fury friends from the cold winter chill during the holiday festivities?

Festive Christmas onesies, or “foursies,” are now available by Ascot Racecourse to keep your horse warm in the most adorable fashion. The company manufactured a custom pair of Christmas pajamas for a very lucky Shetland pony named Daffy.

“In winter I always worry about Daffy getting chilly, as he likes to spend so much time out of his stable,” said Daffy owner and animal trainer at Animal Dramatics, Jackie Rowberry.

Head of Communication and International Racing for Ascot Racecourse, Nick Smith, wanted to add a festive punch to the company’s annual Christmas Racing Weekend event where they raise money for local charities.

“I love the fact that Ascot has created a special foursie for Daffy so that he can get into the Christmas spirit,” said Rowberry. “He’s loved all the attention and is quite the envy among his stable buddies!”

What a lucky little guy! Good to know your furry friends can now join in on the fun this holiday season!
