Garth Brooks Forgets His Hat, So Trisha Yearwood Brings It To Him Mid-Song At 2016 Show

What Happened When Garth Didn’t Have His Hat

There’s no denying it…Garth Brooks is a country music icon. Just as iconic as Brooks himself is his signature black cowboy hat, which he wears for all of his concerts.

But when Brooks stepped out on stage during a show on his World Tour, something was missing. It turns out that Brooks forget to put on his cowboy hat before taking the stage, and had to perform with just a ball cap on instead.

Luckily, Brooks’ wife and fellow country superstar Trisha Yearwood was there to save the day. But rather than just walk out on stage and hand the hat to her husband, Yearwood decided to deliver it in the most epic way possible.

An Epic Delivery

Yearwood made her entrance through an opening in the stage floor while singing her and Brooks’ 1997 duet “In Another’s Eyes.”

That’s when fans noticed that Brooks’ forgotten hat was perched perfectly on top of Yearwood’s head. The hat served as the perfect complement to her dark outfit, and she looked stunning as always.

Although Yearwood didn’t let the hat detract from her beautiful voice, she did tip it toward the crowd a few times before she made her way over to her husband. While singing in perfect harmony with one another, Yearwood came to Brooks’ side, and that’s when she took off the cowboy hat to hand it to him.

Finally reunited with his hat, Brooks placed it on top of his head as he and Yearwood shared a smile over the moment. How cute!

You can watch Yearwood deliver Brooks’ hat to him in the video below. Once you do, we have an important question to ask…who wore it better? Yearwood or Brooks? Let us know your thoughts!
