Love Runs Deep

Talking with The Insider while on the Canadian segment of his nearly three-year tour with wife Trisha Yearwood, country music superstar Garth Brooks looked back on the first time the pair met in Nashville and opened up about how deep his love runs for her.

“I think I was 27 and she was 25,” Brooks recalled looking at a photo of the two in their younger years. “Look at her! She just gets more gorgeous everyday. We also say: this is the picture where we have two good eyebrows between us.”

Taking a minute to relive the time he proposed to her on stage in front of thousands of people, their parents, and God, Brooks became teary-eyed and sounded a bit choked up.

“Her dad was there and her mother was there and it was big,” Brooks said adoringly. “My father was there [too] so it was cool.”

The host remarked at his teary-eyed appearance and all he could say was the sweetest thing, “I love that woman…and when I think about how much I thought I loved her…pshhh! Not compared to today! That’s the bomb right there.”

Yearwood also got in on the adorable moment, posting that same photo of the two in their younger years on social media and celebrating another treasured Valentine’s Day with Garth.
