Garth Brooks Gives Couple Battling Cancer An Epic Surprise

CTV News Youtube

One woman was given a once in a lifetime opportunity when the kindness of one country legend landed her in a fairytale with her prince charming. Tanis Post found herself at the doctor’s with unbearable headaches, later learning that the cancer she had believed she had previously beaten had returned and was growing on her brain.“I really didn’t expect it to be something so serious,” she told CTV News

Although confined in the ICU, Tanis was determined to make use of her formerly purchased Garth Brooks tickets, despite doctors believing an outing for the tenacious woman would not be possible. Her husband of 25 years, Chris Post, explained their bleak outlook for making the event by saying, “It seemed like it was a pipe dream. It was impossible.” However, these lovebirds were very adamant that Brooks’ music had played a key role in their love story, making this concert attendance a priority.

A miracle was granted and, despite the former thought that it was not possible, Janis was on her way to meet both Brooks and his ravishing wife, Trisha Yearwood. In a decked out party bus with her happiness as an accessory, the two set off with their friends for a night they’ll never forget. You can watch their interview and experience below!
