Country music star Garth Brooks opened the Southeastern Championship Game of the Week – Texas A&M against UCLA – on CBS with his blazing new song “Pure Adrenaline.”

A customization of the song will kick off the weekend series every Saturday as well as appear on his forthcoming studio album. A sneak peak of the revamped version of “Pure Adrenaline” was uploaded in form of a 30 second clip to SEConCBS’s Twitter account on September 2 to get fans pumped up for the game.

“Now it’s kicking in, pure adrenaline,” sings Brooks. “No one’s ever been where you’re standing, time to dial it in. Pure adrenaline.”

The opening game ended in a Texas A&M win, the southern university scoring 31 points to UCLA’s 24.

While little is known about the details of Brook’s upcoming album, he recently said in a Facebook live stream that the “theme of this album is starting to be Summer all year long. We’re all starting to dress like Summer.” A little vague but we’ll take it.
