Garth Brooks Shares The Secret To How He & Trisha Yearwood Keep Their Love Alive

After nearly 11 years of marriage, Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood have managed to keep the fire burning. In fact, it seems that as time passes the two country superstars fall deeper in love with one another.
Anyone who follows Brooks and Yearwood on social media knows how much they admire one another as artists. This is something Brooks made clear on Wednesday night (November 2), as he accepted his fifth Entertainer of the Year award from the CMA.
In his list of thank yous, Brooks praised his wife, calling her, “The coolest touring mate you could ever ask for, the love of my life, the breath I breath in and out.“
Since September 2014, Brooks has toured across the country on his extensive World Tour. Because his tickets sell out so fast, often shattering sales records, Brooks has added many additional shows to the tour. Through it all, Yearwood has been right by his side.
But despite all of his accomplishments on tour, Brooks still doubts himself at times. Speaking to E! News after his big CMA win, he explained that Yearwood helps keep their love alive by always reassuring him in his moments of doubt:
“At any time I doubt myself, she reminds me. Any time I’m not feeling up for it, she reminds me. She always reminds me who I am and I am the lucky man that belongs to her. With that, I think you can get through anything. [I] love our family, love our girls.”
How sweet is that? It’s things like these that prove why Brooks & Yearwood are one of the strongest power couples in country music!
