Garth Brooks’ ‘The Dance’ Gets Masterful Makeover From Award-Winning Singer

He just won big at a country music awards show, but we will understand if you’ve never heard of Keith Pereira, seeing as it was the Auckland Country Music Awards.
The Auckland, New Zealand native has been passionate about singing country music for some time now and he’s finally taking his talents to social media for all to enjoy. Having just recently launched a Facebook page and YouTube channel, you can now say that you are one of Pereira’s earliest fans!
Along with posting cover songs, Pereira details some of his career which includes performing, and winning awards, at the Auckland Country Music Awards, collaborating with New Zealand Country Music Star Awards winner Jeremy Hantler, and being featured on popular New Zealand country duo Cooper’s Run’s upcoming album.
A song he covered on his Facebook page was Garth Brooks’ “The Dance”, which is one of the best we’ve heard in a while. Accompanying himself on the guitar, Pereira embodied Brooks and even sounded like him in some parts!
