George Strait Electrifies Crowd With Killer Performance Of ‘Unwound’

AP

Rightfully earning his title as “The King of Country”, George Strait has crafted an incredible career with his riveting concerts and sensational talent! He showcased just that when he gave an incredibly upbeat performance to a set of lyrics perhaps expected to accompany a more somber melody, essentially giving us the ultimate concert experience!

Kicking up his concert with his notable hit “Unwound”, Strait is no shortage of energy as he shakes hands with eager fans before diving into this jolting number! He passionately sings of his “problem” to his fans, explaining, “that woman that I had wrapped around my finger just come unwound” and is in desperate need of a drink!

He strums his guitar as he sings, “She kicked me out of the house and tonight I’m whiskey bound/ Yeah I’m gonna be the drunkest fool in town/ ‘Cause that woman that I had wrapped around my finger just come unwound.”

The wondrous combination of upbeat instrumentals and Strait’s echoing voice makes it incredibly hard to be anything but joyous, despite the somber idea that Strait is about to be a single man!
