Can y’all believe that the incredible film Pure Country turned 25 years old in 2017?

To celebrate the momentous occasion, the Alamo Drafthouse Cinema showed the film at several of their locations. The “Pure Country Movie Party” includes a pre-viewing party with prizes and interactive props to use throughout the movie.

As most country fans know, country legend George Strait made his feature film debut as the lead character, Dusty. As he spoke about the movie fans are about to watch, his phone rang. When he turned it off, he apologized by saying, “Sorry about that.”

“Don’t be THAT guy,” he continued.

We won’t, George, we promise! Watch the PSA below.
