George Strait Rocks Out To Surprise ‘Folsom Prison Blues’ Performance

George Strait gave fans the surprise of a lifetime when one of his Las Vegas shows redirected into a rendition of a Johnny Cash classic! While performing during one of his coveted concerts, Strait took to the stage with his band and surprised his audience with an impromptu performance of the timeless tune “Folsom Prison Blues”.

The crowd went wild upon hearing the song’s iconic intro, putting a proud smile on the crooners face as he kicked off the opening lyrics. “I hear the train a comin’ rollin’ round the bend/ I ain’t seen the sunshine since I don’t know when/ Well I’m stuck in Folsom Prison and time keeps dragging on/ While a train keeps a rollin’ on down to San Antone,” he sang while energetically strumming his guitar.

Fans were mesmerized by the performance, falling in love with Strait’s uncanny tribute! The “King of Country”, however, refused to settle for strictly a vocal performance, as he made his way along the stage while showcasing subtle dance moves and musical nods.

Begging for more, Strait’s audience cheered for the country star’s resurrecting performance as he held his final note and wrapped up the performance of a lifetime!
