Christmas has come early, thanks to the five guys that make up the vocal group Home Free!
Every time this group releases a video, it sounds better than the last. Then we think, is that even possible? Their last video was perfection! But yes, country a cappella group Home Free never ceases to amaze us with their silky-smooth harmonies.
For their latest release, they performed a moving rendition of the holiday favorite “Silent Night” while standing in front of a Cathedral on a snowy winter night.
A version of “Silent Night” was included on their first Christmas album Full of Cheer, as well as their deluxe album Full of (Even More) Cheer. Full of Cheer was recorded with former member Chris Rupp, who left the vocal group in 2016 to pursue other musical endeavors.
This rendition of “Silent Night” includes their newest member, Adam Chance, who perfectly rounds out the group with his natural baritone voice. Rarely does Home Free sing in five-part harmony, because their percussionist Adam Rupp is usually busy beat-boxing, but with his voice included, their harmonies are truly chilling.
Rob Lundquist, Tim Foust and Chance each had solos, giving this Christmas classic a magical twist. Watch Home Free’s performance of ‘Silent Night” below.
