Indy Inherits Love For Music

With Joey + Rory as her parents, Indy Feek has a love for music in her blood. Rory has gone to a great effort to teach his little girl all about the wonders of music. She was once taking piano lessons, and seemed to be enjoying them.

Rory once shared some photos from Indy’s piano lessons with “Miss Amber.”

The collage of photos shows Miss Amber helping Indy play “Do You Want to Build a Snowman?” which is a song from the popular animated movie, Frozen.

Based on the smile Indy sported in these photos, we’d say that she had a fun time learning how to play piano!

She Can Sing Too

In addition to playing the piano, Indy has also expressed a love for singing.

Rory once shared a video of her singing along with their neighbor, Jan Harris. He kept his caption simple on the video, saying that Indy was “born to sing.”

Watching the video, we’d have to agree, because Indy seems to experience great joy from singing. She enthusiastically blurted out the words to the song she and Jan sang, which was a tune called “Mockingbird.”

This Track Is A Country Staple

“Mockingbird” was written and originally recorded in 1963 by Inez & Charlie Foxx, and was based on the beloved lullaby “Hush Little Baby.”

The song gained a country connection in 2004 when Toby Keith covered it with his daughter, Krystal. Their version reached the 27th spot on the Hot Country Songs chart.

Indy made it clear that her favorite part of the song is where it goes “whoa” a few times in a row, because she asked Jan to sing it again. Jan let Indy take over on that part, and she sang it loud and proud!

Tune in below to watch the too-cute-for-words video of Indy singing along to “Mockingbird.” Her mama would be so proud of her!
