‘It’s Intimidating!’ – Miranda Lambert Details Her Recent Backstage Meeting With Randy Travis

As a lover of classic country music, Miranda Lambert definitely appreciates meeting a country legend, no matter how famous she is.

At a recent show in Arlington, Texas, Kenny Chesney surprised the entire audience when he brought Randy Travis onstage to help him sing Travis’ hit “Diggin’ Up Bones“. 

Fans went crazy and so did we! It’s so amazing to see Travis back onstage after the life-threatening stroke he suffered in 2013.

Chesney is touring with Miranda Lambert, who was able to watch this moment first-hand and be backstage with the country legend.

During last week’s CMA Fest, Lambert answered the question on everyone’s mind. “What what is like seeing Randy Travis back stage?”

“It’s kind of interesting to see when a hero comes to a show, it’s a little intimidating,” she said. “When they’re so nice and such fans of country music, it makes you feel comfortable.”

Even Miranda Lambert gets starstruck! She also revealed how sweet his wife was, and how much they just enjoyed being there, surrounded by great country music.
