Jana Kramer Pushes Through Injury To Deliver Intense Tango On ‘Dancing With The Stars’

If this is how she performs when she is injured, we can’t wait to see what she can do when she’s healthy!

On the second week of competition, country singer Jana Kramer wowed the judges with a Tango set to the tune of Gavin DeGraw’s “I Don’t Wanna Be”, which was the theme song to the TV show that put her on the map, One Tree Hill.

With DeGraw performing the song live, it added extra pressure to Kramer, who suffered a back injury earlier in the week. In an interview with E! News on Sept. 15, she revealed that doctors told her she “tore some muscles in [her] ribcage.”

Kramer said she will be going to the doctor and taking care of herself, but not dancing is “not an option.”

She came out guns blazing on TV Week and gave an impressive performance. You couldn’t even tell she was in pain!

Kramer brought her A game and the judges thought so too. She and her partner, Gleb Savchenko, received a higher score than last week and she showed improvement as well.

“I love the passion. I love your drive. I love what you put into the performance. You really live every moment. I love that. The chemistry is brilliant,” Judge Bruno Tannioli said.

What did you think of her performance? Watch it below.
