Over 35 years have passed since 9 to 5 made its theatrical debut, the cult classic that brought together Hollywood elitists Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin with Dolly Parton. Fonda and Tomlin, who currently co-star in Netflix series Grace and Frankie, met up with The Late Late Show host James Corden to discuss their experience working with the country music living legend.

One of Fonda’s favorite memories was when she went on tour with Parton, kicking the trip off by singing with her on stage at the Grand Ole Opry. After struggling to collect her thoughts on what that night was like, the actress shared that her memory is a bit fuzzy, and for good reason!

“But then we went on her tour bus and one of the first stops was at her cousin’s still in the Ozarks because she wanted me to know what really good white lightning was,” recalled Fonda.

Parton then brought out her cousin’s finest moonshine, filtered one time extra especially for the actress.

“I didn’t know I was drunk!” she said. “I was drunk for 10 days and didn’t know it.”

Tomlin, who was silent throughout the conversation, looked completely dumbstruck by her friend’s hilarious story.
