Josh Turner’s Megahit Gets The Barbershop Quartet Treatment In Sultry Performance

International barbershop quartet supergroup, OC Times, deliver a sultry rendition of Josh Turner‘s country megahit “Why Don’t We Just Dance”. Performing at the 2012 Association of International Champions show, the California-based group left the audience in a frenzy with their incredible rendition of the country singer’s song. 

The group delivered masterful harmonies throughout their performance, noticeably thrilling a few young women in the audience heard screaming midway through the song. The group’s rendition of the song is so good it even caught the attention of Turner himself, sharing the performance to his Facebook that he calls “kick butt.”

OC Times is a four manned band comprised of Shawn York, Sean Devine, Patrick Claypool, and Cory Hunt. The group formed back in 2003 and have toured on a global scale, winning multiple medals in international singing competitions.

“Why Don’t We Just Dance” was released by Turner in 2009 as the debut single off his album Haywire. Proving the album was a force to reckoned with, the song swept the charts, hitting No.1 on Billboard’s Hot Country Songs with sales exceeding into 1 million.
