Country music star Josh Turner has continued to thrill fans with his highly-anticipated new album Deep South, made available for purchase March 10. The singer has been piquing the interest of his dedicated fans with a variety of sneak peeks, including performing a handful of flawless masterpieces expected to embody the newest release!
Keeping his fans on their toes and craving more, Turner gave an exceptional live performance to his country-worshipping new song “Deep South”, emulating the name of his recently released album. The crooner opened up his nostalgic tune by boldly singing, “You say you’re from a planet where the tea ain’t sweet/ You’ve never seen a chicken that’s fried/ You’ve never been up in a big ol’ live oak tree/ You’ve never heard of Charley Pride/ I‘m feelin’ sorry for you ’cause you’ve been missin’ out/ You made me realize how good my life is.”
With that, Turner kicked off into his riveting chorus, profoundly showcasing his thankfulness for being raised in the “Deep South”! He beefs up the experience, reminiscing on making out with a pretty girl in a quaint barn and being proud of even the smallest of accomplishments. “Y’all better listen up you heard it straight from my mouth/ I’m from the Deep South,” Turner powerfully sang as he wrapped up the performance that had every country girl longing to visit his part of town!
