On a January 2018 evening, country superstar Keith Urban put on a free show at Nashville venue Exit/In for his adoring fans. They were so eager to see him, they lined up hours before doors opened at 6:30pm, waiting in the freezing cold.
During the live Facebook stream, he had a video roll with each and every date of his upcoming Graffiti U Tour revealed, but held out on the Nashville date. He asked a fan to help him reveal when he would be playing in Music City.
“We’ve been monitoring everybody being active socially tonight and have picked someone whose been going nuts on social,” he said. “She’s gonna come up and announce when we’re playing Nashville. Her name is Ashley Sorenson.”

Immediately, you could hear Ashley and her friends scream at the top of their lungs in pure shock. She finally got up to the stage when Keith started asking her a couple questions.
Ashley revealed that she was studying Music Business at Belmont University, and when Keith asked her what she wanted to do after graduation, she said she plans on being a country singer.
This prompted Keith to ask her, “What do you want to sing? Should we sing something?”
After freaking out for a little bit, Ashley suggested his song “Without You.” Keith grabbed his guitar and all of a sudden they were country music’s newest duo!
Ashley looked right at home on the stage singing the high harmony while Keith sang the melody. The duet went so well, that he told her they should sing it together when he comes back to Nashville on his tour!
