Country music’s sweetheart Kellie Pickler had fans at the edge of their seats when her revamped performance of a George Jones classic lit up the stage!

Performing live for Sirius XM in 2013, Pickler was all smiles as she rocked her pixie cut and charming personality that won over the hearts of fans during her American Idol debut. The blonde bombshell perfectly coincided her bubbly personality into her killer performance as she kept her viewers entertained with her quirky tribute.

“Well I asked my old pappy why he called his brew/ White lightnin’ stead of mountain dew/ I took a little sip and right away I knew/ And my eyes bugged out and my face turned blue/ Light has started flashin’ thunder started crashin’/ Whew, white lightnin’,” she energetically sang.

Released in 1959 on the album White Lightning and Other Favorites, it was Jones’ original performance of the fiery tune that snagged him his first no.1 single of his career!
