Kelsea Ballerini Takes The GRAMMY Stage For Duet That Had Everyone Talking

Reuters via Fox News

At the 2017 GRAMMY Awards, country newcomer Kelsea Ballerini was up for the coveted Best New Artist award against fellow country star Maren Morris, rappers Anderson .Paak and Chance the Rapper, and DJ duo The Chainsmokers.

The award ultimately went to Chance the Rapper, but Ballerini got her moment to shine when she took the GRAMMYs stage for the very first time to sing her No. 1 song “Peter Pan” with surprise guest, pop group Lukas Graham.

After Ballerini sang the first line of “Peter Pan”, the pop band’s frontman Lukas Forchhammer emerged to sing their breakout hit “7 Years”, which was nominated for Record of the Year, Song of the Year, and Best Pop Duo/Group Performance.

They traded off singing their own choruses and verses in an interesting mash-up that had the Internet going wild.

Watch their performance below and let us know what you think of it in the comments below.
