Kenny Chesney Brings Cancer Survivor On Stage During Emotional Final Concert

Kelly Swanson Facebook

One Kenny Chesney fan got the tearjerking moment of a lifetime when Kenny Chesney invited her on stage in front of a packed audience to showcase her strength and beauty, despite her battle with cancer.

While singing the Bob Marley classic, โ€œThree Little Birdsโ€, Chesney casually made his way to Swanson and gently grabbed her hand for the full serenading experience! A very giddy Swanson is all grins when, as Chesney slowly starts to make his way back from the stageโ€™s edge, Swansonโ€™s friends give her the extra push she needed (literally!) to successfully join Chesney in front of the entire stadium! Itโ€™s pure magic from there, folks!

Swanson makes her way to Chesney, all the while fumbling to put her baseball hat in hopes of hiding her hair loss that, instead of an embarrassment, should serve as a warrior-esque badge for her incredible strength! This is where Chesney motions for Swanson to remove her baseball cap, ultimately removing his own cowboy hat and emotionally joining foreheads to showcase an exceptionally emotional moment of pure acceptance!

The audience erupted with cheers! The two transition to a heartfelt hug and Chesney continues to sing the uplifting reggae hit with Swanson, who is grinning from ear-to-ear and blowing profound kisses to the camera!

Swanson later took to facebook, stating:

โ€œโ€ฆAs if it wasnโ€™t enough for him to catch my eye to let me know โ€œevery little thing is gonna be alright โ€ฆI promiseโ€ but to be brought up on stage was so surreal. Thank you Kenny for making my night so special and one I will never forgetโ€ฆโ€

We can all agree that this is one hell of a way to close out a kick ass tour and do exactly what you preach, โ€œSpread The Loveโ€
