Custom built to Kenny Rogers’ specifications in 1983, the 973-acre property, called Beaver Dam Farms, is now headed to the auction block on July 9th, 2016.

Sitting atop a historic plantation just 90 minutes outside of Atlanta, Georgia, the property holds freshwater lakes, a championship golf course, and a 12,000 square-foot main home.

The main home is complete with seven bedrooms, nearly as many bathrooms, a cinema, home gym, two tennis courts, and breathtaking private pool. Also on the property is a 44-stall stable and 72,000 square-foot indoor arena.

Rogers sold the home in 2011 to Wesley Adams, a wealthy rodeo tycoon, for $10.5 million. Adams passed away later that same year from complications during his battle with liver cancer.

This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity,” an agent of the auctioning company states. “[The Ranch] is rich in history and uniqueness, and someone is going to get a steal at the auction.”

It has been estimated that to undertake a rebuild of the property in today’s world would cost more than $30 million.

Following Adams’ death, his family originally listed the property for $20m, but reduced it quickly to $9.5 million after they failed to sell the farm. Currently, the starting bid at the auction is just $3.5 million, and at just a tenth of the value – someone will definitely be getting a huge deal!
